On the Way Home From Church...
"she turned to me from the passenger seat with tears in her eyes and asked me to pray with her. I shouted to the rest, "Who wants to pray?" and they all shouted back "Me! Me! I do!"
They bowed their heads and we prayed a very excited Resurrection prayer of salvation! They were so excited and joyfully talking about it with each other the rest of the way home.
Today when we got to our Easter destination…
his balloon flew out of the car (the one he got from Cornerstone) and I inwardly groaned, afraid of his disappointment and tears. You know what he said? "It's okay, Dad! It's not important, you know why? I just want to be more like Jesus!"
Then, when the kids were having a dance party after dinner, he did a slow, 'interpretive dance' where he curled up in a ball on the ground, slowly unrolled his body and stood up straight, put his arms out to his side, opened his eyes and turned to his face up to the sky. He said sweetly and softly, "This is my 'Jesus raising from the dead' dance." and smiled.
